My first name is Lynne and my middle name is Ann. My mother fell in love with the name Lynne and she made sure she added an “e” so people would know I was a girl (back then, some men were named Lynn, like Lynn Swan, the football player). My mom told me that she knew a really smart woman named Lynn and a really beautiful woman named Ann, so she went with both.
