In my industry, IT technical writing, the feeling is that the recent changes that AI has brought are not positive. I predicted that much like "post-translation" editors are paid less to edit copy that has been translated, "post-AI" editors will be employed at low rates to "massage" and edit AI output. It's already happening. And the rates are abysmal.
